Need Advice - Category 7 Points Stay in Barcelona

I haven't had a chance to use points in a while. The last time I used points was in Hawaii several years ago and they had a deal for something like 6 nights in a resort hotel for 150K points for Diamonds.

I called today about spending a week in Barcelona at the Diagonal. The agent at the Diamond desk didn't seem that creative. She said they had no standard rooms and it would be 894K points for a 7 or 8 night stay.

894K points seems excessive for a long week. 112K points a night at that hotel. Is there anything that I am overlooking and should be asking for? That would eat up the majority of my available points.

There are two Hiltons in Barcelona. The Diagonal and the Hilton Barcelona. The standard Hilton would be about 480K points. It is better, but the Diagonal seems like the place to stay.

Any advice? Are there any programs the agent didn't suggest that I can ask for or take advantage of?
