I know there are other posts about the Budapest Hilton's but having stayed in the Castle property some years ago (and enjoyed it!) i have booked a trip for my family to return in the new year, and i have some different questions.
I am sure I could get some answers from Hilton but i enjoy talking with 'yall' much more!
Rates - what is the best rates you have seen at this property? There is a promo for the dates i want which is 66 Euros a night which is pretty good. Will i get any lower than this? Having been a Diamond HH for many years who was just demoted to Silver (it's tragic, I feel so unimportant) I will probably fork out the extra 30 euros for Exec room and Lounge. I need two rooms though (one for the kids) and i don't really want to pay to upgrade the kids rooms. Any ideas? Do they do a half price room for kids? Will they honor it on such a low promo rate? 96 euros for Exec room seems a lot better than 76k points!
Rooms - do they have connecting rooms here - both standard and Exec?
Unicum (was once comped in the Exec lounge) - bit OT but while I am here... has anyone come across a Menthol flavour of the drink?
