Hi , this one is kinda new to me.......just wondered other ft folks experiences.........In the UK , the last couple of months we have started getting the online check-in option, i have two Hiltons booked for this weekend stansted and docklands and noticed on the OLCI that they have give me a selection of crappy rooms ( smoking, near elevator, etc) on both hotels?....... obviously i didn't bother taking any and just left it....im confused , one time i simply booked the hotel and on the morning of check in i would check my online folio and see if i was upgraded or not ( its sad but i found this a bit exciting:D)......nowadays it seems to have changed, yes i know upgrades are space available etc.....but tonight i'm in the Hilton stansted, no apparent upgrade and been offered a selection of rubbish ground floor smoking rooms near elevator and my folio is hasnt changed from the room i booked....... do they no longer change the folio the morning or night before of check-in, am i missing something????......please advise :confused::confused::confused:
