No show stay posted

Due to error on my part I was a no show for abrecent reservation.
Very pleased to see I received both stay credit and points (+ bonus and promo!).
Has hh no show policy changed or am I just lucky? Wonder if local hotel staff perhaps processed it incorrectly?
