I know through my searches that quite a few Hilton properties around ATL offer free on-site parking and airport shuttle service to guests. Has anyone been successful parking and staying a night at the hotel, checking out and riding the shuttle to the airport, staying away for a week or so while leaving your car at the hotel, returning and staying a final night at the hotel and departing without incurring a parking fee? I know several of the Marriott properties charge a reduced long-term parking fee for similar situations, but I can't find any info on this regarding some of the Hilton properties, although I have heard chatter that several of the properties do in fact allow free long-term parking.
If this is possible, does anyone have recommendations for the best properties to do this at in regards to safety of the lot, overall hotel condition, etc?
