I have a three day trip to London coming up next Sunday and I'm deciding between the Hilton on Park Lane vs the Hilton Tower Bridge. I'm Gold and the rates are pretty much identical at around 230 GBP, although:
1) Park Lane also offers a Points plus cash rate of 32k plus 98 GBP, which I may consider. Tower does not, and their full award rate is ~150k!
2) Tower would have a confirmed exec room and that rate for the Park Lane is not an exec room, but hopefully would be upgraded as gold.
I've read several threads and know they are both great properties. Can anyone comment on the differences in the areas surrounding the hotels? Also, my fiancée is almost 6 months pregnant, so we're mainly there for sightseeing, exploring, and shopping. Would that make you lean either direction?
