I'm considering a quick visit to Durango, Colorado.
There appears to be 3 Hilton properties in the town: a Doubletree, a Homewood Suites, and a Hampton Inn. The 3 hotels are ranked in the top 3 on Tripadvisor, and there is a somewhat dated thread on the Doubletree on FT (see here: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hilt...e-durango.html).
Does anyone have any insight or up to date advice regarding which is the better property?
I'm leaning away from the Hampton simply because, well, it is a hampton, the comments I've seen elsewhere on the Doubletree indicate that it is a dated property (but well located), and the Homewood seems to be top-notch but relatively far outside of town. Seems like a bit of a quandry in terms of which to pick.
Any and all thoughts are welcome.
Thanks.
