I am considering getting Hyatt Diamond(challenge) to go along with Hilton Diamond. Hyatt Diamond might not be that easy to maintain as there is only one Hyatt property nearby, whereas Hilton has a lot of hotels in the vicinity. I am not confident of maintaining both next year but it may be possible.
What are your thoughts? 2 more hilton stays in this month and I am done for the year.
The thing that draws me to Hyatt is because Hilton Diamond is not any better than Hilton Gold. But Hyatt Diamond is so much better than Platinum... So there is no need to compete for upgrades with the credit card holders. At Hilton, the credit card holders get the upgrade over the Diamond with 50 stays, so that is a concern. At Hyatt, no chance for Plats to get into the lounge, at hilton, the gold members adopt a confrontational attitude when not given lounge access.
