Yet, I am encountering increasing numbers of Hilton-family properties that are not placing the checkout bill under the door on day of departure.
Communications via your customer service e-mail system have revealed that non-compliant properties have Hilton's authorization to forgo providing this benefit.
Am I being given the correct information?
Do individual properties really have the authority to fail to provide a corporate-promised benefit?
BTW... the front desk explanation is usually that the property is "going green."
BS. If the property does not print the bill, I have to print a copy at home. No trees are saved.
