I was phoned by a lady from Las Vegas while standing waiting for my bags at the luggage carousel in LAX (and I told her this), offering me a cut-price week's vacation in Hawai'i. She wouldn't take no for an answer, despite the fact that I have more points than I know what to do with and could easily get a free week in Hawai'i whenever I like. I eventually hung up on her when my bags appeared.
During the next week she phoned me several times a day, always from the same number. Since I was working in a recording studio, this was annoying. I answered the first time and told her once again that I was not interested, but the calls kept coming in. I simply cut them off without answering.
