I saw a post earlier today about an employee at a Homewood Suites looking to provide extra perks to their valued clients and it got me to thinking....
What COULD the other brands do to make the stay nicer?
I know that the economy is rough and that some receptions are better than others (See Embassy Suites South Lake Tahoe's food bar with only chex mix and goldfish...yippie) but is there anything specific that would make you jump for joy and make your stay better?
My new idea for the new year is to WAIVE the room service delivery charge for Diamond's. I would literally eat every meal in my room if that fee didn't apply. May even hot breakfast!
At the very least wouldn't it be nice to be able to order dinner up to the exec lounge from the resturant without having a delivery fee?
Sometimes after a long day of driving, traveling, or work in general I don't want to go out to a resturant. I realize I can get a to-go order, but there's something nice about being able to use real silverware and plates.
What do you think? Thumbs up? ^
