Has anyone ever stayed here, or have any information to share?
I did a search, the property came up in some discussions about properties joining/leaving the HHonors folio, as well as about point redemptions.
I'll be in San Antonio in a few weeks for an event downtown. This property is walking distance (5-10 min) to where I need to be, and has decent rates. The other HHonors properties (Hilton, Embassy, even Home2 and Homewood) are $50+ more/night for the nights I need. There is a Hampton that has rates close to this, if this property is something I should avoid.
I took a look on TripAdvisor, and the property gets good reviews, mostly 3-5. It does have a great location, right across from the Alamo. Like any older property, the rooms sound a mixed bag, some tiny broomclosets, others quite nice.
I'll be traveling alone, for 3 nights. I'm planning to have a rental car, unless parking is crazy expensive, or just crazy to deal with.
Thanks.
