Only Standard Reward room is ADA?

I booked two rooms at the Embassy Suites SAT Riverview, one paid and one reward. They offer 3 choices of rooms for $229/night, but the only room available as a standard reward (40K) is mobility/hearing accessible including a roll-in shower which is $239/night, the others show as a 64K premium room reward. Oddly the same room with a river view is $10/night less but still a premium room reward. The room is actually for my mother-in-law who is 80, so the features can't hurt, but she is able to walk and hear ok with her hearing aid.

Before confirming the reward stay I was asked to make sure I needed this room, or that no other room that met my needs was available. Should I take it to mean this would include there was no other room I had enough points to book?

I read an old thread about booking ADA rooms, but did not see anything about rewards stays. At least on person who posted said the CSR was not willing to book them in another room. Others said they either wrote not needed in the notes or mentioned it on arrival.

Anyone have any recent experiences like this? Would hate to take the room away from someone who can't do without these features.
