VP assistant to me - “Many...expressed excitement on the changes to the program"

I emailed Christopher Nassetta (first.last@hilton.com) the president and CEO of Hilton Worldwide and Jeff Diskin (first.last@hilton.com) the Senior VP of Hilton HHonors about the upcoming changes. As a HH Diamond I expressed how this major devaluation was making this diamond jump ship. I did not expect to get any response and the response I did get from some assistant at Hilton told me:

“Many of our guest have expressed excitement on the upcoming changes to the program! You will now be able to get a free night for as little as 5,000 HHonors points! Not to mention that a good number of hotels will be less points for a free night at times during the year. Thanks for your loyalty and remember only HHonors allows you to double dip and get both points and miles!”

Really? ...! I would have preferred no response at all.

I think we need to make it know that many of their guest are not happy about these nutty changes coming on 28 March. I encourage everyone to send a personal email to Mr. Nassetta and Mr. Diskin and let them know that you and we are not happy! The emails are very simple firstname(dot)lastname at Hilton dot com. I know many are just giving up and leaving but we should make it known. Email these two and let them know what we think! :mad:
